Purchased by a local lady, Elda Howell, in 1958, this store holds a great keys to our town of Calen. Elda passed away in April 2013 at the age of 83, running her beloved Newsagency for over 50 years. Now still run by the same family, it's as much a Museum as it is a Newsagency.

Having a R.A.C.Q. depot in our area is a life saver. They are our local mechanics and also sell fuel, tyres, batteries and spare parts. Locally owned and run with a great reputation.
